Our story
Founded by a nurse in 1996. Still led by her today.
Phyllis Ross, RN, founded Samaritan Services in 1996 and still leads it as Director of Nursing and CEO. We began by providing nurses to Englewood Hospital Medical Center and Holy Name Hospital Medical Center, and grew into private duty and home care as families needed it.
Thirty years later the standard is unchanged: the kind of care she would want a nurse to give her own family. We are not a national chain. We are experienced, personal, accessible, and clinically responsible.
