What we do with what you send us.
This page explains, in plain language, what this website collects, what we use it for, and what we would rather you tell us on the phone instead.
What this page covers
This policy is about this website: the forms on it, and the information your browser sends while you are reading it. It is not the same thing as the privacy of your medical record once you become a client. If you are already receiving care from us and have a question about your health information, please call the office nearest you and ask for the Director of Nursing. That conversation should happen with a person, not through a web form.

Please do not send medical details through this site
We deliberately do not ask for diagnoses, medications, insurance member numbers, Social Security numbers, or anything else from a medical record on any form here. A public web form is not the right place for that information, so we take it on the phone instead, where we can protect it properly.
Tell us enough to reach you and to understand the kind of help you need. We will ask the clinical and insurance questions when we call you back.
What we do with it
We use what you send to respond to you: to call you back about care, to consider your application, or to answer your question. That is all.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We share it only with the people at Samaritan Services who need it to help you, with the service providers who run our systems, and where the law requires it.
Analytics, and where we turn it off
On our general pages, we use Google Analytics to understand how people find and move through the site. It tells us things like which pages get read and roughly where visitors are coming from. It does not read what you type into a form.
We deliberately switch analytics off entirely on the care request page and the page you land on after submitting it. Those are the two pages where someone is most likely to be describing a family member's situation, and we did not want any third party present for that.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. The site works without them.
Asking us what we have, or asking us to delete it
You can ask us what information we hold from your use of this site, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call either office, or write to us at the New Jersey address below, and we will take care of it.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update this page.
